Some projects trigger a development approval (commonly known as town planning or DA), if we are proposing to break council rules. It can cost between $3k-$10k. What are your thoughts on this?

I’m happy to go to DA if it means I get the house I want – and will probably have to with our site.

Design to try and avoid DA, and we’ll evaluate if it’s worth it when we have the design in front of us.

I don’t want to trigger DA at all. Design to avoid this.
